Design and implementation of acquisition and investment screens and the identification of companies and properties in the coal industry suitable as candidates for acquisition or investment—conducted throughout the major U.S. coal basins for a wide variety of clients, including both publicly traded and privately owned entities. These entities have ranged from those that were actively producing to potential first-time entrants and to passive investment entities. A significant portion of this work remains confidential.
