Stagg Resource Consultants, Inc. (“STAGG”) provides a full range of professional services to the natural resource industry throughout the U.S. and internationally. The firm, which has been in business for more than 40+ years, routinely works in the petroleum, industrial minerals, metals, and coal sectors.. The firm’s corporate offices are located in Cross Lanes, West Virginia.
STAGG’s client base includes many of the major U.S. mining companies as well as a variety of regional and independent producers, international mining companies and financial institutions, domestic financial institutions such as banks and investment banking firms, regional and national law firms, and a variety of government agencies.
Meet Our Executive Team
For 43 years, Mr. Stagg has continued to expand his consulting firm’s services in the areas of property and reserve evaluation; the operational, economic, and financial analysis of natural resource producing operations and companies; the preparation of marketing, cost, and pricing studies for a variety of mineral resources and fuels; the preparation of environmental site assessments and audits; the appraisal of mineral properties and operations; and litigation support and expert testimony.
Ms. Hager has held numerous positions with Stagg Resource Consultants, Inc. (”STAGG”) and its predecessor companies. These include, among others, manager – drafting, director – energy information services, vice president – project administration, and vice president – technical services. She is currently executive vice president and chief operating officer, managing STAGG’s technical resources group, project administrators, and administrative staff.
In October 2007, Mr. Wood was appointed to the position of vice president and chief financial officer, a position he held until early 2016 when he relinquished the role of chief financial officer to focus on his consulting role to the firm’s clients. His responsibilities in this position have included overseeing the firm’s accounting, corporate administration, human resource, and information technology operations. Mr. Wood continues to serve as the corporation’s secretary-treasurer and on the board of directors.

What began as a group of exploration and mining geologists more than 35 years ago has evolved into a full-service consulting firm, incorporating a broad spectrum of disciplines into its practice.
